I enjoyed my dinner here, but be warned, as much as Asian Legend is not a book dedicated to the first shah of Iran or something, this lower level restaurant is not a museum of or tribute to the industrial revolution, the first locomotive or a bathhouse. It is a restaurant specializing in Cantonese, Hong Kong and seafood.
The menu has a large variety of items. Several items are hard to find elsewhere. The prices are 10 to 20% higher than other Chinese restaurants. For that the waitresses were politer, better dressed and the premises were a tad cleaner.
The chandeliers hinted at a seafood bent and the menu featured many seafood items, but I had the spring rolls which were quite bland and empty, the fried tofu which was perfect with its very crispy shell and soft interior, the spareribs were surprisingly extra oily but tasty and the Dioscorea Chicken in lotus leaves, which is a rarity and quite tasty. It is the combination of vegetables, roots and chicken with their blend of spices that makes it work. The dioscorea is slightly bitter of course, but not too much and provides a good contrast with the other ingredients.
The restaurant offers an introductory carrot soup (which may change from time to time) and rice cake dessert as included at no extra charge. These were tasty and welcome.

It was my second time here and I would return, but not too often because parking and driving in this plaza is hazardous to one's sanity.

I had the opportunity to try this location along with other fellow Yelpers. It was a little hard to find as it is located at the lower level near the stairs.

This place is fairly decent sized with nice and accommodating staff. The owner of the location was on site and was kind enough to introduce to us the dishes.

We were served: Watercress (with Seafood) Soup, Fried Calamari and Shrimp, Lobster Fried Rice, Fried Noodles with Beef, Sesame Chicken, Pork with Honey glazed sauce (these dishes were mentioned verbally, but written in Chinese on the board, I couldn't read it, sadly) and a complimentary "Tong Sui" (Sweet Yam Dessert)

Watercress (with seafood) Soup - the taste was light and thick enough. I really appreciated the added ingredients of crab meat, egg, and some seafood that I couldn't distinguish. Not the star of the 6 course meal but appreciated the light starter.

Fried Calamari and Shrimp - a great safe choice, shrimp were big like tiger shrimps. Although the calamari fried batter bits were falling off, the taste was great. Not too salty.

Lobster Fried Rice -- the presentation was on point with lobster opened up and inside was sticky rice with a VERY light sauce/seasonning. Lobster was up to standard with flavour and taste, however, I did wish that the rice had equally enough flavour.

Fried Noodles with Beef - This dish was up to standard and did not taste like there was any MSG which I appreciate, and it was actually crispy.

Sesame Chicken - This dish. From far away it looked like fried chicken, but up close, it was sesame seasoned all over the skin over the chicken skin. I really liked this dish as I have not tried many places that does this dish. I appreciated the light sesame flavour (they also had the ginger and onion sauce for chicken for added flavour).

Nearing the end of the event, they served the dessert as complimentary (not part of the course that we were introduced) Sweet Yam Soup, it was nice and not too sweet, a very nice and good touch to the traditional style of Chinese dining.

    PROS:
    - nice staff
    - flavour is not too salty (for those who really hate oily and too salty food)
    - clean
    - decent dish presentation
    - a lot of food
    - tastes relatively a lot cleaner than many other Chinese restaurants
    CONS:
    - for those who really like A LOT of flavour this might be too light of flavour

It seemed promising as potentially a niche restaurant that focuses on steamed foods. The restaurant is fairly small with a few big tables. There is free parking outside. The prices were high, considering the portion sizes and the quality of the ingredients. I would say the prices are about 30-50% higher compared to what I could get elsewhere. It was nice to try something new, but our experience was not satisfactory and we won't be coming back.

I've had a few visits to this restaurant and the food has been pretty consistent. In particular, I really enjoyed the rice with the shrimp. The food is very light in taste -- tastes fairly healthy. The dishes aren't too salty or oily, which I appreciate. The main downside is the price of the dishes. It's quite higher than other restaurants.

This restaurant has delicious and authentic Chinese food for a good price and their service is amazing. They moved locations but they also improved their food from the last one. I highly recommend this restaurant and I will definitely come back! They are very accommodating, glad I gave this place a try!
